Don't pause Jey Uso mid slam, no matter who is calling...For the global launch of WWE 2K25 Mobile, we teamed up with Netflix to create a high impact commercial that brings as much in ring attitude as anyone can bring to an office. YEET!

A dramatic shot of a wrestler performing a high energy in ring move, with bright arena lights and a blurred crowd behind him.

Results

Creating a connection between a WWE superstar and the experience of playing WWE 2K mobile delivered both impressive reach and genuine audience interaction across all platforms, vastly outperforming the gameplay-based trailer. The commercial debuted on Netflix and social media during John Cena’s final Monday Night Raw match of his career, amplifying its impact during a moment WWE fans will never forget.

Process

Netflix brought us in to develop creative around their tagline “When you have the freedom to play anywhere, the WWE can happen everywhere,” challenging us to explore the idea that WWE 2K25 Mobile unleashes fans to play WWE no matter where you are. Our process focused on translating that freedom into a striking visual moment, turning everyday environments into unexpected arenas and letting the chaos of the ring spill effortlessly into real life.

Strategy

With our creative, we set out to drop fans directly into the immersive feeling of playing WWE 2K25 Mobile, giving them the sense that they are actually controlling the superstar in the ring. To do that, we built the entire spot around the moment that matters most, freezing a wrestler in mid air at the height of a massive slam. And who better to anchor that moment than Jey Uso, the high flying megastar known for his Uso Splash from the top rope. The production spanned two shoot days across Nashville and Los Angeles, where we combined an existing archival shot of Jey with a full greenscreen and office environment shoot. The result is a seamless blend of real world comedy and in ring impact that brings the game to life.
